Remember the days when all the kids would dress up and go door to door trick or treating? When I was a kid every one of the kids did their thing and the streets were crowded with goblins and ghouls. This Halloween I got a chance to go to Prescott, AZ to see the undertakings in the Historical area. This is a one of kind event like you have never seen before. The police barricade the streets so there are no cars and all the home owners participate in the grandeur. Decorations for each home like a movie set for the horror film and everyone sits on the front porches and hands out candy to little ones and the bigger kids that are pushing the “aren’t you to old” envelope. Fun is had by all and the participation is mind boggling. You know, this is not your 30 to 40 kids we are talking about 4500 to 5000 kids. Three solid hours of handing out some 90 to 100 pounds of candy at every home. Everyone said you have to see it to believe it and they were not kidding. It was a great time and a sight not to be believed unless you were there. Thanks to Prescott for this monumental event.
